WHAT DO ALLIGATORS EAT?
Alligators are opportunistic predators, feeding on what is easily accessible in their freshwater environments, depending on their age and size.
While still young, they feed on small fish and invertebrates such as amphibians and insects. Adult alligators feed on small mammals, fish, birds, turtles, snakes, and other reptiles.
