The Goliath spider—scientifically known as Theraphosa leblondi—is the biggest in the world. You can find the Goliath spider in the coastal rainforests in northern South America, and its body can grow up to 9 centimeters in length (3.5 inches) with a leg span of up to 28 centimeters (11 inches).
