WHERE DO ALLIGATORS LIVE?
American alligators live in lakes, ponds, wetlands, rivers, swamps and other freshwater environments across the United States. As the name suggests, the Chinese alligator is found only in the Yangtze River. Just a few Chinese alligators are remaining in the wild, with more living in captivity in zoos around the world.
