WHY ARE BEES CONSIDERED THE MOST ECONOMICALLY VALUABLE OF ALL INSECTS?

Without the bee, pollination of a great variety of flowers would not be possible. I would not be possible to produce food without pollination of flowers, which would spell disaster for the human race.

About 25% of food humanity consumes directly or indirectly is produced through pollination by the honeybee. And for the beekeeper, there would be no honey and beeswax, thus no money in his pocket. Of all insects, it is only the bee that produces food eaten by humans.

Wolf spiders that live in the Arctic tundra enjoy eating the springtails, but spiders lose appetite them during summer the temperatures are warmer. The springtails feed on fungus, which in turn decomposes melting land matter to form form carbon dioxide and methane. The two gases are responsible to global warming, which means that the more wolf spiders feed on alternative food sources the better for global warming.
